The Montgomery Police Department has arrested a man and charged him with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

Police say Monday evening, patrol units responded to Gaslight Curve to a domestic dispute between relatives. Police say as they tried to take the suspect, Kadarius Gray, 21, into custody, he resisted arrest.

As a result, police say an officer received a shoulder injury and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Gray was taken into custody and is being held under bonds totaling $30,000.

The injured officer has been released from the hospital.
