Montgomery Police Charge Man in City's 21st Homicide

Montgomery police tell CBS 8 News 21-year-old Michael Cottrell is charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the shooting death of 44-year-old Claude Brassell.

Cottrell is being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility under $120,000 bond.

The shooting happened just before 6:00 Thursday night in the 3300 block of Fountain Lane in the Carriage Hills neighborhood.

Police say an argument between several males resulted in gunfire.

The other shooting victim remains in stable condition at a local hospital.
