"MLK Day" Events in Montgomery

There are a number of activities going on Monday in honor of MLK day and President Obama's inauguration, including special discounts at Civil rights museums in the River Region.

The Civil Rights Memorial Center:
-Free admission to the public on Monday
-Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
-Address: 400 Washington Ave in downtown Montgomery (across from the Southern Poverty Law Center)

The Freedom Rides Museum:
-Reduced admission on Monday
-Hours: 12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m.
-Address: 210 South Court Street
