A Montgomery municipal court employee is charged with forgery.
Montgomery Police charged 26-year-old Christian Morgan with one count of second-degree forgery, after he allegedly diverted money from the court.
Police say Morgan received money from a person trying to pay off a traffic fine, created a false receipt, and didn't credit the payment to the court.
Police are working to determine if this was the only time Morgan allegedly failed to report money.
