Montgomery County PTA Recognizes Outstanding Teachers and Staff

Educators and staff developing the young minds in Montgomery county were all honored today with a special reception.

The Montgomery County Council of PTA held a reception at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts to recognize the outstanding teachers, principals, and school support staff of the school year.

The ceremony also recognized award winners for PTA Reflections, themed "the Magic of a Moment."

It included awards in visual arts and a dance choreography presentation.

Jan Hill outstanding principal recepient says  she is very happy to see her hard work paid off.

"It is very exciting. I've won this award a couple of times but each time it's very rewarding, mainly because it's an award that's recognized by the parents at the school," Hill said.

Some of todays honorees were from Baldwin Arts and Academic, Morning View Elementary, Booker T. Washington Magnet High School, and many others.
