40,361 ballots were cast in Tuesday’s primary election in Montgomery County. Of those, 22,483 were republican and 17,878 were democrat. According to an unofficial report, voter turnout was 27.55%.

Steven L. Reed – 82.05%

Montgomery County Commission, District 1 (D)
John Caleb Dean – 34.43%
Dan Harris – 65.57%

Montgomery County Commission, District 2 (D)
Elton Dean – 81.75%
Horace Lee McCoy – 18.25%

Montgomery County Commission, District 4 (D)
Isaiah Sankey – 41.92%
Jiles Williams, Jr. – 58.08%

US Representative, 7th Congressional District (R)
Don Chamberlin – 60.88%
Phillip Norris – 39.12%

Montgomery County Board of Education, District 2 (R)
Bill Brounstein – 44.46%
W. Durden Dean – 55.54%
