Montgomery Co. Commissioner to Run in Special Election

A Montgomery County commissioner hopes to get a seat in the state House of Representatives.

Dimitri Polizos says he'll run in the special election for the District 74 seat, which represents east central montgomery.

Representative Jay Love is stepping down from that seat August first.

Polizos has served on the County Commission since 2004.

It's up to Governor Robert Bentley to set a date for the special election.
