The Montgomery City Council will be considering whether to rezone land to allow a new apartment complex to be built.
The planning commission has approved plans to develop about 17 acres near Troy Highway and Taylor Road. The owner is looking to construct as many as 250 apartment units in land that is currently zoned for office space.
Some neighbors are not in favor of the plan.
The council will meet Tuesday at 5 p.m. to discuss the proposal.
