From the CBS 8 West Alabama Newsroom-- A Marion teen is arrested and charged in connection with a string of robberies that have plagued the city over the last few weeks.
Police Chief Carlton Hogue says sixteen year old Marvin Lee Snead is facing first-degree robbery.
Hogue says the investigation remains on-going and more arrests are possible.
He says since a gun was used to commit the crime-- Snead is being charged as an adult.
"Because of the nature of the crime, robbery one, and a gun being involved makes it a felony so he will be tried as an adult."
Hogue says Snead is being held in the Perry County Jail.
Bond has not been set.
