Marion City Council Votes to Do Away with City Court
From the West Alabama Newsroom-- The city of Marion in Perry County -- could soon be without a municipal court.
Right now the court will continue to conduct business as usual -- but the council could still shut down the court with a revote -- and then following the process outlined by state law.
The Marion municipal court is made up of three people -- a judge -- a prosecutor and a magistrate.
