Man Hurt in Accidental Shooting in Georgiana

An accidental shooting in Georgiana puts a man in the hospital.

Butler County deputies are investigating an accidental shooting. They say Terry Lee Odom was shot by his father.

It happened around 5 o'clock this afternoon at a home on Welcome Church Road.

Odom was taken to Georgiana Hospital and later moved to Montgomery.

This shooting is still under investigation.
