At 4 P.M. Friday, Greenville police responded to reports of a gunshot in a home on First Street.

After initial investigation, they arrested Joseph Eddins of Greenville.

Investigators say Eddins was using the bathroom, but was rushed out by his brother who needed to get ready for work.

They say being rushed out made him mad enough to get a gun from a bedroom and shoot through the bathroom door; the bullet barely missing his brothers head.

Eddins is charged with attempted murder and is currently in the Butler County jail.
