The Macon County Circuit Judge, who the Attorney General has asked to remove himself from VictoryLand matters, tells Alabama News Network exclusively that he will give his response next week.

Judge Tom Young says he will hold a hearing in his court room next Tuesday, March 19 at 9 a.m.

Young says he wants to hear from both sides before he decides whether to recuse himself from further cases.

Attorney General Luther Strange tells Alabama News Network that Young has pre-decided issues while VictoryLand attorneys say Young has been fair.

A hearing had been set March 19 to decide whether the electronic gaming machines and money that was seized would be returned VictoryLand or would be destroyed by the state.
