Light House Counseling Center Host Charity Golf Tournament

Tools

By Kristen Fisher

The Light House  Counseling Center held a golf tournament Saturday at the Tallapoosa Lakes golf course.

Golfers were hoping  to raise money for the counseling center's stand against rape program .

But it wasn't all about the golf.

There were also door prizes and a silent auction.

Organizers say there is another benefit too and that's raising awareness about the counseling center's programs here in our community.

Light House Counseling Center serves between 50 to 100 sexual assaults victims each year.
