Legislative Session Enters Final Stretch

The Alabama Legislature is moving into the final stretch of the regular 2013 session.  Lawmakers plan to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week, then there will only be five days left in the session.
     Completing work on budgets will be top priority next week.
     The state education budget has already passed the House and is expected to be approved by a Senate committee Tuesday, then the full Senate by Thursday.
     Lawmakers must finish the session in 30 work days total.
