Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from a work site in Montgomery.

Prison officials said Thursday that Tracy Woods was believed to have escaped from the Frank Lee Work Release Center.
Department of Corrections officials said a supervisor reported that the 50-year-old Woods was missing Wednesday night. Prison officials could not find him when they searched the work location.
Sentenced to 20 years in prison for theft, he was set for possible parole in 2015 and for release in 2026.
