Lane Closures Expected While Paint Project Continues

Work is continuing on a maintenance project to paint the underside of the bridge on the ramp from I-65 North to I-85 North in Montgomery.

The traveling public should expect city street closures for the next 10-15 days near the project.

Beginning Thursday, July 29, weather permitting, West Jeff Davis Avenue will be closed between South Holt Street and Adeline Street.

The length of this closure is dependent upon weather, but is expected to last between 5 and 7 days.

Additionally, after the West Jeff Davis Avenue closure is opened, South Holt

Street will be closed between West Jeff Davis Avenue and Columbia Avenue.

This closure is also expected to last between 5 and 7 days.

In both cases, detour routes will be officially signed for the length of the closures.
