Jessica Caspari Released from Jail

The sister of a man convicted of killing an Elmore County woman has been released from jail.

Elmore County officials tell Alabama News Network taht a judge suspended Jessica Caspari's sentence.

Caspari served almost a year of her 28 month sentence for conspiring with another woman to help her brother, Josh Caspari, escape from the Elmore County jail.

She was placed on three years supervised probation.

Josh Caspari was recently sentenced to life in prison for the death of 20-year-old Anna Cardwell.

The woman who police say helped Caspari, Brittany Penn, also had her sentence suspended.
