It's the day before the election, and candidates are working every bit as hard as their opponents to get out the vote.
"A lot of voters at the last minute have called me and they are praying for me. They're voting for me. And they want signs in their yard. So I'm out still seeing them still going door to door and still working hard for this position," said Candidate Heather Sellers.
Plenty of signs dot the yards along District 74 roadways for all three candidates.
We caught up with Candidate Dimitri Polizos at his restaurant.
"Running my restaurant along with campaigning, signing paychecks, mopping floors, sweeping doing whatever needs to be done," said Dimitri Polizos.
We caught up with Candidate Charlotte Meadows taking a few minutes from campaigning to talk with us at her home.
"We're in get out the vote mode. We want to make sure everybody who said they are supporting us remember to go vote tomorrow," said Meadows.
We also asked Meadows about the attack ad that the AEA is running against her.
"I was very disappointed that this race turned out negative. I think it all was coming from the teacher's union, the AEA union. Certainly, if they are afraid of what I may do in the State House, then they have a reason to try to attack me and they are trying to get people to vote for someone else because they know I'll do what's best for our kids if I am elected to the State House," said Meadows.
Meadows believes the AEA is strictly behind the ad.
We asked her opponents about it. They say they are keeping the race clean.
"I have said from the beginning I am going to stay postitive. I'm going to work hard," said Sellers.
Polizos says the mud slinging is not from his camp either.
And staying positive is what works for him as well.
"So far we are doing pretty good. I have had some slung at me. But I don't worry about it. If you do what's right people support you and back you and I think we're ok," said Polizos.
All three candidates are Republicans - - there are no Democrats running in the race.
Polls are open from 7am-7pm Tuesday.
If a runoff is needed, it will be held November 19th.
