Hollywood Gala Part of Montgomery's New Year's Celebration

Some Montgomery residents rang in the New Year in classic Hollywood style at Garrett Coliseum.

Guests arrived to the sight and sound of flash photography as they walked down the red carpet.

The guests enjoyed dinner and big band music, before watching the New York City ball drop on TV monitors. The Alan Brooks band performed.

This event is one of a series planned to help boost the use of the historic coliseum in Montgomery.
