"Healthy Kids for Kids" Run for a Cause

By Alabama News Network

Next month is child abuse and neglect prevention month and the Healthy Kids program in Butler County is doing something to make the community aware of the issues.

As part of their "Healthy Kids For Kids" campaign in April, they are having their first ever 5-K, 10-K and Fun Run.

The county is asking you to hit the pavement with them and run for a child in the community.

The race will be Saturday, April 13 at 9 a.m. and will start in downtown Greenville near Confederate Park.

After the run, there will be free food, inflatables, and Disney characters will be making an appearance.
