Habitat for Humanity Volunteers Working on New Home in Montgomery

By LaKia Starks

Today, the students spent the day working to rehabilitate a house for Habitat for Humanity, which is an organization that helps in-need families find affordable housing.

But when Habitat from Humanity received the home it was a mess and had been vandalized with spray paint and trash.

So Habitat volunteers, including the Kentucky students are working to get it back in good shape.

The future homeowners themselves will put in about 400 hours worth of construction on the house.
