By Catalina Trivino

People in Greenville are practicing for their annual community musical...

It's called "Puttin' On The Ritz" and some familiar faces will be taking the stage. This year's theme is called, "Stars Fell on Alabama," where local performers will be celebrating music by Alabama artists. The performance will also include patriotic music.

This is the seventh year they'll be holding the musical. The show will be held at The Ritz theater in downtown Greenville on April 25th, 26th and 27th at 7:30 p.m. each night.

You can buy your tickets at The Pinapple, a local store located across The Ritz. Tickets are $15 for students and $20 for adults.

"We really are a wonderful community of people how love to perform, sing and dance and it has really brought our community together," Said show director, Nancy Idland. "We have a coziness and a casualness within our group that we feel like rubs off on anyone and we feel like they'll just have a wonderful evening of entertainment."

The money raised in tickets will be used to bring professional shows to Greenville. A portion of the funds will also go to help The Ritz.
