From the CBS 8 West Alabama Newsroom--   Governor Robert Bentley's Road to Economic Recovery Tour made a stop in Perry County today where met with community leaders and discussed the issues the community is facing.

The governor attended an open house at the new DaVita Perry Dialysis Center in Marion. The new dialysis center is equipped to handle about sixty patients and is expected to open by early March.

Bentley also visited Marion Military Institute and toured the campus -- then had lunch at a local restaurant and talked with residents about the economic issues facing the community.

"We talk with local officials when we're in all our areas when we travel across the state to see how we can keep people working because our number one goal right now is to put people back to work and keep people working," said Bentley.
