Governor Robert Bentley has called a special meeting with the Alabama State University Board of Trustees.

University officials received the letter Friday, saying the meeting would take place Monday, October 28th in the board room.

The letter calls for an open meeting, and states that any motion to move into executive session will not be entertained.

The meeting is to discuss the results of the recent audit alleging money being misspent, and the university's ongoing presidential search.

Alabama news network has learned the audit cost the state $650,000 to perform.
