Golden Apple: Pam Gilpin

This week, Alabama News Network visits Montgomery Academy in Montgomery to recognize a special teacher for an outstanding job in the classroom.

This week's Golden Apple winner is 8th grade teacher Pam Gilpin.

Gilpin was nominated by a former student and family member who says that she truly cares about her students, and pushes them to achieve.

Mrs. Gilpin has been teaching for nearly 25 years and is admired greatly by her students and co-workers.
