A former school bookkeeper convicted of stealing thousands from her school in Selma learns her fate.
According to District Attorney Michael Jackson, Janet Ellison received a 12-month suspended sentence. She was placed on two years of supervised probation and ordered to pay $55,000 restitution plus $19,000 to the school for attorney's fees.
In October, Ellison was convicted of misapplication of property at Morgan Academy, a private school in Selma.
