Football Good For Economy

One of the most anticipated college match-ups may have been hundred of miles away from here, but local businesses still saw a win.

Fans were out in full force.
Joel Allen, Texas A&M fan said, "The only thing that is going to be rolling this year is the tears."
It's that team loyalty that area business thrive on. 
Don Parker, GM Baumhower's said, "During the fall, Saturday's are usually our busiest day of the week by at least 20 percent over any other day." 
And for the fans that didn't want to make the trek to College Station, being surrounded by friends, and foes was the next best thing. 
Toni Harris said, "There will be a lot more energy it'll be a lot more engaging and it'll be like, we can't go to the game so it'll be as if we were at the game."
