Evergreen Hosts Remembers MLK With Parade

Tools

By Catalina Trivino

More than a hundred floats and vehicles took part in the event traveling through downtown... throwing out candy and beads for everyone.

Evergreen residents also marched in memory of Dr. King. And the big finale included a group of horses trotting down the street.

Churches, clubs, schools and law enforcement participated in the parade.

This is the second year Evergreen has hosted a parade in honor or Martin Luther King, Jr.
