An Andalusia man pleads guilty after escaping from the city's police department...

Police say Zachary Chambers was a trustee at the Andalusia police department, when he walked off and jumped into a waiting car in July.

That led to a three-day manhunt. The District Attorney's office says Chambers was sentenced to eight years in prison.

The Sheriff's office says the use of trustees has been suspended at the police department.
