Elderly Woman Arrested for Husband's Death

An arrest has been made in

Montgomery's 13th homicide of the year.

Montgomery police say 76-year-old Madie Ivey has been charged with one count of murder in the death of her husband, 77-year-old Dave Ivey.

Police say the incident happened this afternoon in the 200 block of Eastdale Road South.

They say they found Dave Ivey, who had been struck in the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the two had been arguing.
