Dallas Co. Murder Suspect Turns Himself In to Authorities

From the West Alabama Newsroom--  A Dallas County man wanted for capital murder in a Sunday shooting is now in police custody.

Sheriff Harris Huffman says Blake shot 40 year old Kennedy Henderson at Pine Glenn Estates and fled the scene. He says Henderson was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Huffman says Steven Blake turned himself in to authorities Monday evening.

"From our investigation we show that the shooter in this case pretty much tracked the victim down and chased him pretty much all day and finally caught up with him," he said.

Huffman says Blake is being held in the Dallas County Jail under no bond.
