WASHINGTON (AP) - Alabama's national champion football team is making its second straight trip to the White House.

The Crimson Tide is set to visit the White House and visit President Barack Obama on Monday.

The White House says the president will recognize players' efforts to give back to their community.

The trip had been scheduled for early March, but the White House had to cancel when a winter storm hit Washington.

Alabama made a similar visit after winning the BCS title last year.
