Thousands of people came out for a little fun on the Coosa River Saturday for the second annual Wetumpka's River and Blues Music and Arts festival.

The free event included a barbecue cook-off with Alabama News Network Meteorologist Marcy Novak judged.

Organizers say it's a unique, family-friendly event which they hope draws even more people to the River Region every year.
