First United Methodist Church invited members of the church and community to the re-enactment of Jesus' Triumphant Entry into the city of Jerusalem.
This event was part of the church's observance of Palm Sunday and launched their journey through Holy Week.
The centerpiece of the re-enactment was a live donkey.
This free event was open to the public and included a storyteller and music by one of their children's choirs.
"In our church one of the most meaningful traditions is having a live donkey with someone riding the donkey to re-enact Jesus' entry into the city of Jerusalem and all of our church members come looking forward to that, but the children especially find the bible story comes alive," said First United Methodist Church minister, Lawson Bryan.
