Candidates for Chief Justice Participate in Forum in Montgomery

Alabama's primary election is just two weeks away and Tuesday night two of the republican candidates for chief justice face off in their only debate.

Only two of the three republican candidates for Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice were in attendance.

They are former chief justice Roy Moore and incumbent, Chief Justice Chuck Malone.

Judge Charlie Graddick did not attend due to a prior commitment in Mobile.

Panelists asked the candidates questions on several issue regarding the chief justice position.

The democratic nominee for chief justice is Harry Lyon.

He has no opposition.

Election Day is March 13th.
