Selma Mayor George Evans is running for a second term in office-- he’s being challenged by former two-term mayor James Perkins, Jr. in a rematch of the 2008 election. Incumbent George Evans says he wants to continue the progress being made around the city since he took office. James Perkins, Jr. says his campaign is about the people—not politics.
