The first set of scouts are arriving in Prattville today for the first week of Camp Tukabatchee's boy scout camp.

The scouts can earn more than 30 merit badges over the weeklong camp.

Including aquatic lifesaving, emergency preparedness, mountain biking, first aid, soil and water management, dentistry and citizenship in the nation.

Camp tukabatchee opened in 2000, but boys have been going to the campsite much longer than that. Over more than 50 years, 5-thousand campers altogether.
