A body found in Valley Grande could bring an end to a missing person's investigation-- and bring some closure to a Dallas County family.

The body was discovered this weekend at the bottom of a steep ravine in a wooded area off Hoggle Road.

Authorities believe the body is that of 60 year old Stanley Wayne Painter-- who hasn't been seen since mid-November.

Evelyn Gullette is the missing man's mother.

"He had on his clothes and looked like the picture you know and had his keys and they said it was to his trailer but I don't know if they tried it or not, anyway they just think it is and so I feel like it is too," said Gullette.

Authorities have sent the body to the state department of forensics to be positively identified.
