Body Found In Lowndes County

A body is discovered along a Lowndes County Road.

People driving by a ditch along Fredrick Douglas Road near Burkeville discovered the body Sunday afternoon.

Neighbors say the body was covered by some tree branches.

The victim's identity and cause of death have not been released.
