Alabama Marine Police Searching For Missing Man in Lake Jordan

Alabama Marine Police are searching for a missing male boater in Lake Jordan after a small bass boat was found without a driver Saturday. 
Officer Walter Lacey says Alabama Marine Police received a call from boaters in Elmore County that a small bass boat was circling around the south side of Lake Jordan near the canal entrance without a driver at 8:30 a.m.
According to Lacey, the missing boater is an adult male, but police are not releasing his name or age at this time.
Local, state and federal agencies are searching for the missing man with a helicopter, divers and boats.
The Alabama Marine Police are being assisted in the search by the Alabama Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, the Elmore County Sheriff Department, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Montgomery Police Department and Homeland Security.
This is an ongoing investigation, but the Alabama Marine Police expect to give an update late Saturday afternoon. Tune into CBS-8 News at 6:00 for a full update on the story.

Nice job talking about the few law enforcement officers searching and totally ignoring the dozens of volunteer firefighters from at least 4 agencies.
