Bill Banning Sagging Pants Passes House, Heads to Senate

By WNCF

A bill to ban sagging pants in Montgomery County is approved by a 59 to nothing vote in the House of Representatives, and goes on to the senate.

State Representative Alvin Holmes of Montgomery is the bill's sponsor.

He says it's disrespectful when young people wear their pants sagging below their hips.

The bill calls for fines up to $100 for juveniles and $150 for adults if it becomes law.
