Searchers were back in the water of an Autauga County lake today, searching for a missing fisherman.

State divers from more than ten different agencies were on the scene, including helicopters and search dogs.

Family members say David Taylor went fishing alone on Sunday at a lake off of Fulton Road in Autaugaville and hasn't been seen since.

Autauga County deputies say Taylor's truck and tacklebox were found, along with his boot and upside down canoe. They say It has been a slow search because the water is dark and there are many thick roots at the bottom.

They have called off the search for today. They will resume in the morning.
