The Auburn caravan of buses rolled into the Capital City making a lot of noise.
And it's something players, coaches and fans hope will carry over into the new football season.
"I hope they win cause they got a new coach," said one fan.
Head coach Gus malzahn was one of the first off the bus.
Choosing to stay focused on Saturday's game and not talking on camera.
But fans were willing to tell us what they thought of the new coach.
"I think he will do great since he has been with the Auburn and he knows most of the players, I think he'll do great," said Hannah Hughes.
Fans shouted, "War Eagle!", as the players walked into the Renaissance Hotel.
And with a new season starting, excitement is growing
"I'm so excited. I can't wait to see them and all the players," said Haley Hughes.
Even some of the youngest fans are ready to continue their favorite traditions
"Tailgating and being around everybody.," said fans. "I like to tailgate and be with my friends and watch the players."
With a new coach, new players, it's a new team... And they are ready for a new season that all begins Saturday.
Kickoff agains the Washington State Cougars is at 6:00 p.m. at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn.
