Arrest Made in Shooting of Convenience Store Owner

An arrest has been made in the shooting of a Millbrook convenience store owner.

Millbrook Police Chief P.K. Johnson tells CBS 8 News Marcus Turner has been arrested on robbery and assault charges.

On December 19th, police say Turner tried to rob the pit stop on Main Street and shot store owner Punkudge Patel.

Turner is being held in the Elmore County Jail on a $210,000 dollar bond.
