ABI Makes An Arrest in 2010 Macon County Murder

An arrest has been made in the 2010 murder of a Macon County man.

Saturday, the Alabama Bureau of Investigation officials arrested 55-year-old suspect Haywood Floyd and charged him with the murder of Richard Carr.

Carr was shot and killed at his home in Shorter in 2010.

Haywood was charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree and Murder. He's being held at the Macon County jail.
