Anderson Receives Endorsement for AG by AL Fraternal Order of Police

By Morgan Hightower

The Alabama State Fraternal Order of Police today announced that it has endorsed James Anderson for Attorney General.

The group, whose mission is to improve the working conditions of law enforcement officers throughout Alabama, selected the
Montgomery lawyer because of his background and many years of courtroom experience.

“On behalf of the approximately 8,600 members of the Alabama State Fraternal Order of Police, it is my pleasure to inform you that our membership has voted to endorse you in your
candidacy for Attorney General,” wrote Bill Davis, president of the state FOP. “This endorsement was made after careful consideration of qualifications and experience of the
candidates and the membership felt that you are the best person to serve in office.”
