The city of Andalusia will soon move it's municipal courtroom...

City leaders say they plan to move the current courtroom, which is located inside the Andalusia Police department, into another building adjacent to it.

They say buying the property will not only allow them to have a bigger courtroom, but also have better security there.

The property will also be used as extra parking for the police department and library. City officials say they purchased the property for about $185,000.

City officials say construction will start within the next three months. They hope to finish the project by the end of the year.
