From the West Alabama Newsroom--  A Selma man some are calling the "Spiderman Bandit" is under arrest. Police say he robbed a grocery store wearing a Spider-Man mask to hide his face.

Police say Eric Bernard Robinson, Junior robbed the Sav-A-Lot on Highland Avenue at gunpoint. They say Robinson ran away from the store, but was caught in a neighborhood nearby.

"According to the witnesses, he came in the store, walked around in the store and then he donned the Spidey mask," said Lt. Curtis Muhannad with the Selma Police Department.

"Once he donned the Spidey mask, he went to the nearest cash register and held up the clerk there."

Police were able to recover the Spiderman mask they say Robinson wore.
