Alex City Baseball Treasurer Arrested

The former treasurer of the Alexander City Baseball and Softball organization has been arrested for allegedly stealing association funds.

Alexander City police say Lori Baker was arrested on theft and possession of a forged insturment charges for allegedly stealing more than $14,000.

Lt. Jay Turner says the funds were stolen in the form of checks, unauthorized purchases for personal gains and from cash withdrawals.

Baker is now out on bond.
